The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a new entry level Blackberry. Vodafone wants to position the phone as an exciting new device for students, because life’s too short for outdated phones. Our answer: 'the BlackBerry Hideout'. In a real life treasure hunt, Dutch students searched for hidden BlackBerries on their campus. Clues were hidden on the Internet, posters, in magazines and near campus to lead them to the BlackBerry Curve. Two international students (actors), working for BlackBerry, Benoit and David were the communication link between the campaign and the students, since students are used to talking to people, not to brands.
